At Race Roster, our goal is to make managing your events as efficient and stress-free as possible. With our latest CRM update, we’ve introduced three powerful new filters designed to enhance your reporting capabilities and save you valuable time. Whether you’re segmenting your contacts or digging into registration data, these tools provide the precision and flexibility event organizers like you need to succeed.

Here’s a closer look at what’s new and how you can use these features to streamline your event management.

1. Event Group filter – Faster reporting, better results

Gone are the days of manually selecting event names to gather contacts from specific types of events. With the new Event Group Filter, you can now filter contacts by custom event groups or year-on-year (YOY) configurations within seconds.

Use Case: Imagine organizing The International Marathon, a series of events across several years. Instead of adding each event individually into the event name filter, you can now group all events under “The International Marathon” and generate a report of all attendees with a single click.

Benefit: This simple process saves you time and makes everything more accurate, so you can focus on building meaningful strategies from your reports.

2. Tags & tag groups – Unlock new insights with greater precision

Tags are a vital part of many CRMs, and with our new Tag and Tag Group Filters, it’s even easier to customize and create detailed reports. These new fields allow you to filter contacts by specific tags (e.g., “Gold” loyalty tag) or broader tag groups (e.g., “All Loyalty Tags”).

Use case 1:

Identify all contacts with the “Gold” loyalty tag to reward your most dedicated participants.

Use case 2:

Target contacts across different loyalty levels by filtering everyone tagged within the “Loyalty Tags” group.

Benefit: This flexible use of tags empowers you to better understand your community and target specific segments for marketing or engagement campaigns

3. Registration date filter – Pinpoint when your participants register

Need a report on when participants signed up for an event? The new Registration Date Filter allows you to find contacts who registered on specific dates.

Use Case: Effortlessly generate a report to identify participants who registered during an early bird promotion. This valuable insight can guide future decisions on the optimal timing for opening registration or launching targeted marketing campaigns.

Benefit: This granular reporting capability ensures you can optimize your campaigns by analyzing trends tied to specific dates.

Race Roster

At our core, we are event organizers and athletes serving event organizers and athletes. Race Roster was founded by a group of friends with combined interests in running, technology, and event management. After organizing their own 10K in 2010, it was very apparent that the running industry was in dire need of better technology. Since May of 2012, Race Roster has partnered with over 4,000 organizers to grow, manage and execute on race day!
